"Midnight" in the garden of Top 30 music

On no other day is midnight anticipated by so many people as it is on December 31st of each year. Therefore, I take a look in this post at references to midnight in the lyrics of songs from the Billboard year-end Top 30 charts (1951-2016*). 

In all, there are 43 uses of the term in 20 songs in the collection, from 1956's "Green Door" to 2015's "Style." Video clips of the 9 songs in which the word midnight occurs multiple times are presented in chronological order below:
